I'm rebuilding the behind-the-scenes infrastructure of this practice this spring. Three things are changing in May:
1. A new electronic health records system.
I'm moving from Jane to Practice Better. Practice Better gives me a more integrated longitudinal view of your care, which means I can read patterns across visits, track what is working, and respond faster when something shifts. The reporting tools are stronger, and the way it fits with the rest of my workflow is much closer to how I actually think about your care.
2. A new website.
Cleaner, easier to navigate, built to support the way the practice has evolved. I'll flag anything specific that changes. There will be a new booking link, but the main website remains the same: www.sustainalign.com
3. A new communication system.
How you hear from me will change, and how you reach me will change. Fewer dropped messages, clearer ways to engage between visits.
What you'll notice:
Your appointment confirmation and reminder emails and texts will also look different. Same purpose, different look.
Right at the switch, you will be asked to complete a new intake form and sign updated consents in the new system. One-time step. Nothing to do before then.
About the updated consents.
This is also the moment where my updated AI consent and disclosure practices land. The standard for how AI is used in healthcare and how that use is disclosed is being rewritten right now across the field. I am using this rebuild as the moment to put my own consent forms, vendor agreements, and disclosure language at the standard I would want as a patient myself. You'll see the result when you sign the new paperwork.
What is not changing.
Your relationship with this practice. My approach to your care. Your existing records will remain accessible.
Timeline.
Nothing visible changes until May (target May 15th switch). Visits booked between now and then proceed as normal, and anyone with a booked appointment that this system switch affects will be notified directly.
