The air in your home is doing something
Why I'm hosting The Health of Your Home on September 25
I've been sharing bits and pieces of my own environmental health story with you this year.
Honestly, I got stuck in wanting to share more this summer. As someone who talks about environment and context for a living, it felt like admitting I should have known better, like mold and air quality problems said something about how clean I keep my home. Turns out that's not the story at all. This is a structural problem, not a cleanliness one.
Now I'm ready to share more of the drama and aha moments: the testing, the remediation, everything I've been learning about what's actually in the air and water around me.
As a recap, back in May I realized I had an air quality issue at my office, which led to measuring air quality at my house and triggering a cascade of connect-the-dots between lab testing, symptoms, mold, and the history of our house.
So when I say your home shapes how you feel, I'm not saying it from a textbook. I'm living it.
That's why I'm hosting the next Context Matters session on September 25th, joined by Max Payne from Oregon Healthy Homes for an honest conversation about what's actually in the air inside most homes, what it does to your nervous system and your body's ability to heal, and what to do about it before something goes wrong.

Want a head start on evaluating your own home and health?
I built a free environmental self-evaluation that walks through the same territory we'll be covering: air quality, mold, water, dust, and more. Takes about ten minutes, and you'll get a personalized breakdown of where your home stands right now and how it may be impacting how you feel every day.
